How long should I plan to volunteer?
We welcome volunteers for a minimum of one week. Longer stays of 2–4 weeks tend to be more meaningful for both you and the team. We are flexible and happy to discuss what works for your schedule.
Can my church or organization do a fundraiser for the GLO Project?
Absolutely — and we love it when communities rally around us. Reach out and we'll help you plan something meaningful.
Can groups or teams visit together?
Yes! We welcome groups — from churches, schools, and organizations. Group visits require advance planning, so please reach out at least 3 months in advance.
Can I volunteer if I'm based in South Africa?
Absolutely! We welcome local volunteers and are actively building relationships with South African community members, organizations, and businesses. Get in touch to explore how you can be involved.
Can I purchase farm produce?
Yes! We sell fresh vegetables, compost, and pork products to the local community. We also offer a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) box program. Contact us to find out what's currently available.
